Terry Trucco grew up in Stockton, California. After stints in Tokyo, Manila and London, she settled in New York City. Her favorite stories are those that delve into the culture of a locale, be it literature in London, movie stars in Manila or hotels in New York.
A few of the places her stories have appeared are The New York Times Magazine, Real Simple, Travel & Leisure, House Beautiful, House & Garden, ARTnews, The International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. She is also the author of several books, including Color, Details and Design and Terry Trucco’s Where to Find it from A to Z, a collection of her columns from The New York Times. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and daughter.
